Discussing the blog with my husband and our varying palates we realized that some of the things I like and will be making he's not a big fan of and vice versa. But I can't not make something just because one or the other doesn't like it.
For instance I made skillet Pineapple Upside Down Cake for him a few nights ago. (with pecans but no cherries) I will not touch it. It is most likely going to get tossed in the garbage soon. Freshness only goes so far.
We also hate wasting food. So I am thinking that some of the local people who follow this blog would enjoy being the recipients of our extras. One I will be doing soon that I know will need a home, will be chocolate filled eclairs. I love them, he doesn't.
99.9% of what I cook will be loaded with butter and eggs. So it's probably not for the health conscious. But if you would like to have some of what I make, follow the blog and let me know if you'd be interested.
